Larry The Lobster Tuffy Toy Review

Below is a little information given to me about what Tuffys are...

What are Tuffys?

These imaginatively designed, 'Tuff' toys come in funky shapes and sizes, including Sea Creatures, Ultimates, Juniors and now in super cute Barnyard and Zoo styles too! With 28 fun toys to choose from, your dog will be entertained for hours!
All of the Tuffy toys are suitable for use in water and most squeak but there are some that don't, so if you or your dog are not keen on squeakers you haven't been left out!
As you will see from our gallery pictures, Tuffy's are not just for dogs but other pets and even Zoo animals can enjoy them too!

What makes Tuffy toys so Tuff?

The secret to the TUFFness is in the design; each TUFFY is made using up to four layers of different types of material and is filled with a non-toxic fibre. They are held together by up to seven rows of clever cross stitching, all bound up in a protective binding making it the ideal toy for even the most persistent of chewers!

In addition to all that TUFFness, TUFFY toys float and some squeak, in fact several of the toys contain more than one squeaker! As you would expect, all squeakers are enveloped in a special protective pocket of material, to be safe from your dogs efforts to “kill” the squeak!

The Tuff-Scale

That is why TUFFY created the ‘TUFF scale’, designed to show how tough one toy compares to another, to help owners choose the right toy for their dog.
The scale runs from ‘1 - cheap plush toy’ to ‘10 - mega strong’ and all TUFFY toys have a minimum rating of 5, so you can buy with confidence.

Larry The Lobster Review By Harvey

Harvey was lucky enough to have been gifted Larry the Lobster to test out. Now Harvey goes through toys like a knife through butter. Tuffy toys last for an extended period (longer than most toys hence the name). It boasted no stuffing and the extra layers of stitching...

Unfortunately, 20 minutes after giving it to him I found him in the middle of the living room surrounded by stuffing. With both squeakers pulled out of the claws.

One good thing about the toy is he likes to play tug with it and has held up well to being pulled and shaken.

Sadly I would not recommend this toy for dogs that like to destroy toys and need something that will last for longer than 10 minutes. Larry is ranked 8 on the tuffy scale so is expected to withstand a Boxer playing around. At £15+ for one toy, its a very expensive "cheap" toy to throw away.

Berlin Day 2

Hello Jelly Beans, So todays post is going to be short and sweet, simply because I visited one place and then had to come home due to feeling a little poorly. So first thing was breakfast. Being summoned to the breakfast room this sight greeted me. Freshly squeezed juices, different teas and coffee. Doughnuts, croissants, toast, muffins both sweet and savoury, a huge selection of cereal and of course a fried breakfast. I went for some simple toast and a cuppa tea. Before heading out in the taxi to my next location to explore.   So I hear you all shout "where did you go today"? Well my dear friends, I shall tell you. Today I took a trip to the iconic landmark that is. The Berlin Wall. Well what can I tell you about this wall. The Berlin Wall was a barrier constructed by the German Democratic Republic starting on 13 August 1961, that completely cut off West Berlin from surrounding East Germany and from East Berlin. The barrier included guard towers placed along large ...

Ford Street Car 1.6 Luxury - Cute & Affordable

Good Evening Everyone. Today I thought that I would start something slightly different as a running series. Car/vehicle reviews. Now I absolutely love my cars and vehicles so thought I would kick off this series with my very own love....The Ford Street Ka!! As much a fashion accessory as a mode of transport, the Street Ka is cute enough to have character, cheap enough to be bought by a single girl about town and sensible enough to serve a useful purpose while it looks good. The solid underpinnings of the car have been stiffened and tweaked to release a wee bit more performance, but this is not a vehicle with any serious sporting pretensions. It's eminently chuckable, but the limitations of the 1.6-litre engine prevent even clog-footed drivers getting themselves into trouble. Around town it's at its best, darting in and out of traffic, nipping into tight parking spaces and performing neat little U-turns. On the motorway it gets a bit too talkative but is f...
