Berlin Day 2

Hello Jelly Beans,

So todays post is going to be short and sweet, simply because I visited one place and then had to come home due to feeling a little poorly.

So first thing was breakfast. Being summoned to the breakfast room this sight greeted me. Freshly squeezed juices, different teas and coffee. Doughnuts, croissants, toast, muffins both sweet and savoury, a huge selection of cereal and of course a fried breakfast. I went for some simple toast and a cuppa tea. Before heading out in the taxi to my next location to explore.

So I hear you all shout "where did you go today"? Well my dear friends, I shall tell you. Today I took a trip to the iconic landmark that is. The Berlin Wall. Well what can I tell you about this wall. The Berlin Wall was a barrier constructed by the German Democratic Republic starting on 13 August 1961, that completely cut off West Berlin from surrounding East Germany and from East Berlin. The barrier included guard towers placed along large concrete walls. this wall is absolutely amazing. They are now completely covered in graffiti all telling a different story. Here are a few pictures I took.

So then folks, like I said, I'm sorry its short but I'm going to head off to bed now and try and get some rest before my final day tomorrow. Illness really is a pain when on holiday. Thanks for reading and sticking with me though friends.

Love ya'll

Sugar and Crumb Icing Sugar Review

Good Morning Everyone. I love to cook, I love to bake and love to try new things. Hence why I started a cake and bakes business. There is one thing I love more than anything and that's trying new flavours. This is where the amazing brand Sugar and Crumbs come in. Sugar and Crumb have an amazing range of natural icing sugar and cocoa powder  that I just couldn’t refuse trying out. Not only that, it was the perfect excuse to bake cake!  Sugar and Crumb have a large number of icing sugars so I took the plunge and purchased a couple. Jaffa Twist, Bubble Gum, Coconut & Lime and White Chocolate and Raspberry. The package is stylish and  eye catching when it arrived. It contains recipes for simple cupcakes and also butter cream icing using the product. What I was also pleasantly surprised to find they can also be used to make fudge, meringues, marshmallows and other delicious treats. Obviously, I will be giving these a go at a later stage. A...
