Paris Day Three {Final Day}

Hey Jelly Beans.

So today is my last full day. My case is packed ready for my flight home tomorrow. I have had such a fantastic couple of days. I really am going to miss this place so much.

After polishing off my yummy full breakfast again I took a trip to Toulouse Market. A friend of mine had approached me before my trip and said I should pay it a visit as they have the most fantastic fish stall. I was not disappointed when I arrived.

The array of different fish and shell fish that greeted me was incredible. They had everything from cod to haddock, salmon to plaice. Prawns to my favourite Scallops. So much to chose from. It was a shame I couldn't take any back to my family as they all love fish.

Sad to say shortly after taking the above picture my camera battery died so I was unable to take pictures of some more interesting stalls. I also couldn't take a picture of this artist outside the market do character drawings. He was better than any I have seen in the UK before. Such talent!

I didn't buy anything much, but I did however purchase this little key ring to remind me of my trip up the Eiffel Tower which was super cute and are on my Car/House keys right now.

Seeing as it was my last night and I have been putting it off for years, I decided I was going to take the plunge and try snails. One decision I will not be making again!! I absolutely hated them. The colour for starters put me straight off them. I personally think it would take a very strong person with an iron stomach to handle these "slippery little suckers". (Pretty Woman Quote).

Overall Experience.

My overall experience of my three days in Paris have been in one word, Magical. The Eiffel Tower trip was really worth the queuing and waiting for, and if you enjoy pottering around markets then Toulouse Market is well worth the visit.

Hotel Du Prince Eugene.

This hotel met all my expectations: easy access, reasonable price, good breakfast, cleanliness, friendly and professional service. I am very pleased with my experience and highly recommend this place
Only minor problem: the breakfast room is quite small, and by the time I got there at 9.30am, there was quite a bit of waiting time to be seated. I therefore chose to have my breakfast delivered in the room, even though this service was normally to be reserved in advance, and it was all taken care of quickly and professionally.

I highly recommend this small hotel for anyone looking for a reasonably priced stay with good services.

Well my dear friends, I have a flight to catch early tomorrow. So this is where I bid you goodnight. Thank you all for joining me on this first travel blog. I hope you have enjoyed reading this as much as I have had writing and experiencing it.

Speak Soon.

Berlin Day 2

Hello Jelly Beans, So todays post is going to be short and sweet, simply because I visited one place and then had to come home due to feeling a little poorly. So first thing was breakfast. Being summoned to the breakfast room this sight greeted me. Freshly squeezed juices, different teas and coffee. Doughnuts, croissants, toast, muffins both sweet and savoury, a huge selection of cereal and of course a fried breakfast. I went for some simple toast and a cuppa tea. Before heading out in the taxi to my next location to explore.   So I hear you all shout "where did you go today"? Well my dear friends, I shall tell you. Today I took a trip to the iconic landmark that is. The Berlin Wall. Well what can I tell you about this wall. The Berlin Wall was a barrier constructed by the German Democratic Republic starting on 13 August 1961, that completely cut off West Berlin from surrounding East Germany and from East Berlin. The barrier included guard towers placed along large ...

Ford Street Car 1.6 Luxury - Cute & Affordable

Good Evening Everyone. Today I thought that I would start something slightly different as a running series. Car/vehicle reviews. Now I absolutely love my cars and vehicles so thought I would kick off this series with my very own love....The Ford Street Ka!! As much a fashion accessory as a mode of transport, the Street Ka is cute enough to have character, cheap enough to be bought by a single girl about town and sensible enough to serve a useful purpose while it looks good. The solid underpinnings of the car have been stiffened and tweaked to release a wee bit more performance, but this is not a vehicle with any serious sporting pretensions. It's eminently chuckable, but the limitations of the 1.6-litre engine prevent even clog-footed drivers getting themselves into trouble. Around town it's at its best, darting in and out of traffic, nipping into tight parking spaces and performing neat little U-turns. On the motorway it gets a bit too talkative but is f...
