Paris Day Three {Final Day}

Hey Jelly Beans.

So today is my last full day. My case is packed ready for my flight home tomorrow. I have had such a fantastic couple of days. I really am going to miss this place so much.

After polishing off my yummy full breakfast again I took a trip to Toulouse Market. A friend of mine had approached me before my trip and said I should pay it a visit as they have the most fantastic fish stall. I was not disappointed when I arrived.

The array of different fish and shell fish that greeted me was incredible. They had everything from cod to haddock, salmon to plaice. Prawns to my favourite Scallops. So much to chose from. It was a shame I couldn't take any back to my family as they all love fish.

Sad to say shortly after taking the above picture my camera battery died so I was unable to take pictures of some more interesting stalls. I also couldn't take a picture of this artist outside the market do character drawings. He was better than any I have seen in the UK before. Such talent!

I didn't buy anything much, but I did however purchase this little key ring to remind me of my trip up the Eiffel Tower which was super cute and are on my Car/House keys right now.

Seeing as it was my last night and I have been putting it off for years, I decided I was going to take the plunge and try snails. One decision I will not be making again!! I absolutely hated them. The colour for starters put me straight off them. I personally think it would take a very strong person with an iron stomach to handle these "slippery little suckers". (Pretty Woman Quote).

Overall Experience.

My overall experience of my three days in Paris have been in one word, Magical. The Eiffel Tower trip was really worth the queuing and waiting for, and if you enjoy pottering around markets then Toulouse Market is well worth the visit.

Hotel Du Prince Eugene.

This hotel met all my expectations: easy access, reasonable price, good breakfast, cleanliness, friendly and professional service. I am very pleased with my experience and highly recommend this place
Only minor problem: the breakfast room is quite small, and by the time I got there at 9.30am, there was quite a bit of waiting time to be seated. I therefore chose to have my breakfast delivered in the room, even though this service was normally to be reserved in advance, and it was all taken care of quickly and professionally.

I highly recommend this small hotel for anyone looking for a reasonably priced stay with good services.

Well my dear friends, I have a flight to catch early tomorrow. So this is where I bid you goodnight. Thank you all for joining me on this first travel blog. I hope you have enjoyed reading this as much as I have had writing and experiencing it.

Speak Soon.

Kong Wobbler Interactive Dog Toy Review

Kong Wobbler Interactive Dog Toy Review There aren’t many toys that last a long time in this household but the Kong Wobbler has been around for a long, long time. I was hesitant at first because I’m cheap and they make me skeptical given my fur babies track record for destruction. I will say it’s not completely indestructible though; when I first got Harvey the Wobbler,  I accidentally left him with it for a few hours and after that it wouldn’t close anymore, he managed to break a few pieces off. I replaced it because it is such an easy way to keep my dog occupied.  Our new Wobbler wont have a scratch on it; it’s pretty durable and tough.   Harvey Loves His Kong Wobbler Even with repeated uses Harvey still gets excited to play with it. It’s fun watching him push it around with his nose and paws. Jumping around and growling at it. I don’t have to worry about him eating too fast. Large deep chested breeds are predisposed to bloat...

NYX Haul Review

NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Foundation This is my favourite day time foundation, I wear this day to day going to work and what I love about it is the coverage it gives me and the fact that it’s long lasting. I do have to wear a primer underneath to get the full days wear. The name states its Matte but not flat, but I don’t find this foundation mattifying at all, if anything it leaves a dewy type finish on the skin and because I like a matte finish on my skin, I do have to mattify it with a powder. I wish there were more shades in this foundation.       NYX HD Concealer I use this concealer for under eyes, to cover up dark circles, the concealer is quite lightweight and I have often read that it’s a cheaper dupe for the NARS Radiant Concealer, it feels really light on the under eye area and give good coverage, however, I felt that around 4-5 hours later the layer started to become more transparent and started to fade away. I do like this product but, I jus...
